| 지방 콘텐츠 회사의 PD로 일하다, 다큐에 진심인 직장 선배의 꼬드김에 넘어가 장편, 사적 다큐멘터리 영화 <옥순로그>를 제작하게 되었고 어쩌다 발들인 다큐의 세계에서 지금까지 헤어나오지 못하고 서성이고 있다. <옥순로그>는 2023년 전주국제영화제 코리아시네마, EIDF 페스티벌 초이스로 상영되었으며 전북 양성평등 영화제 개막작으로 초청되었고 현재 개봉을 앞두고 있다. <옥순로그>를 포함해 주로 가족의 이야기, 기억의 이야기에 관심이 있으며 후속작으로 또 다시 사적 다큐를 하고 싶지 않아서 자신과 비슷한 다른 가족의 이야기를 담아내고 있다. |
| After working as a producer at a regional content company, she was coaxed by a senior colleague?who was deeply devoted to documentaries?into making her first feature-length personal documentary, Oksoonlog. Ever since she accidentally stepped into the world of documentary filmmaking, she has found herself unable to leave, still lingering within it.Oksoonlog was screened in the Korea Cinemascape section at the 2023 Jeonju International Film Festival, selected for the Festival Choice program at EIDF, invited as the opening film of the Jeonbuk Women’s Film Festival, and is now preparing for its theatrical release.Including Oksoonlog, her work primarily engages with themes of family and memory. For her next project, she wanted to move away from making another deeply personal documentary, and is now exploring the story of another family whose experiences resonate with her own. |
